I appreciate being able to share the wheel with parents as we drive toward family solutions. It's incredible to see the creativity that is released with the addition of a new perspective, and watch it mold into new routines and collaboration.
I find the parents hold a deep wealth of knowledge about the workings of their family and I reflect ideas back to them in a way that brings new realization and appreciation for the positive aspects of their relationship. We focus on repairing relationships so that collaboration can root.
I am available both daytime and evening hours by appointment only.
Success in Motion Therapy
I love knowing what resources are available in the community for my clients and sharing my knowledge in a broad spectrum of areas. I value family life and feel it should be joyful, fun and supportive for all members. Mad2Glad and parent coaching, in general, is another tool to reach the goal of joyful everyday life for those traveling the path of parenting intense-brain children.
I love supporting families who are doing OT, teaching them ways to incorporate what their children need into their daily lives. I also love working with any parents who want to explore the ways that their habits, styles and ways of communicating affect their children and impact their families. I enjoy people who are curious, open, willing to try new things, evaluate what is and isn’t working in their lives, and who are ready to make the changes that will help transform struggle into joy.
I am available in person in the Success in Motion Therapy clinic (in Minneapolis) or via online conferencing for those farther away. General availability is Tuesday - Friday during the day.
I have been a practicing pediatric OT since 1997, specializing in working with children with Sensory Processing disorders, motor delays and other developmental issues. I am also a certified Massage Therapist with experience using CranioSacral therapy with children and adults with trauma experiences, illness, injury and other difficulties.
Mrs M Parent Coach
I love to see parents grow and blossom into new found/renewed confidence and calm as advocates (aka warriors) for their children.
My Strengths and areas of specialty are families with young children. As an elementary school educator by day, my specific training, passion and expeience is with children aged 3 to 10. However, I'm currently navigating pre-teen-aged circumstances with my own children.

The Therapy Place
I have found that the Mad2Glad Blueprint complements my work as an occupational therapist and helps me to fill in the "missing pieces" that traditional OT strategies may not address. I love sharing these simple strategies that work and make a big difference in the lives of parents and their children.
My area of specialty is working with kids with sensory processing disorders, and I often try to incorporate my knowledge of sensory processing with the Mad2Glad strategies.

The strategies in the Mad2Glad Blueprint have changed my family dramatically and I want to share this with others. Parenting is the most challenging thing many of us do in life and for many of us traditional parenting strategies don't work. That just leaves us with frustration, pain and desire for things to be different. But there are strategies that can work and once I learned these our lives became calmer, we became more connected, and just plain enjoyed each other more. It took work to make this change and I am grateful that I can help others learn how to do this and support them while they work to change habits.
I have a caring and compassionate approach while helping to drive habit change. I blend teaching new strategies with reflection and exploration of perspectives to create lasting new habits.
Via phone or Skype. Friday between 10am and 3pm, Wednesday evenings between 5pm and 8pm.

Parenting is one of life's most transformative experiences, filled with many joyful and challenging moments! Having support along the way is something I am passionate about. It is my mission to help parents and children build bridges of communication rooted in empathy, compassion, joy, and love. In searching for a way for my husband and I to connect on parenting our two daughters, we went through the Mad2Glad program. After seeing the “joy flow” of our family improve and parenting stress lessen, I was inspired to go through the Mad2Glad Professional Certification program to coach other families looking for the same thing.
In our modern world that is so fast paced, I find it crucial to build pockets of support that ground us in creating loving and joyful parent-child relationships. The Mad2Glad Blueprint ™ holds valuable wisdom rooted in the principles of childhood and adolescent brain development, emotional communication and mindfulness practices. I love being a Mad2Glad parent coach and facilitating families as they awaken to the understanding that what they do matters. The support built into the program empowers parents as they learn specific strategies to transform their parenting experience from chaos to calm, which is so rewarding.
My background as a speech language pathologist and holistic health practitioner allows me to layer a unique set of skills into my parent coaching, including; child development and special needs, energy based healing practices for stress management, and holistic nutrition education. Through keenly listening to the needs of my coaching families, I am able to guide and support their journey as they set personal goals in their Mad2Glad program.
I'm currently available for taking Mad2Glad clients.
